Park Rules

These rules are in place to help ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests. By entering and staying in the park, all guests agree to comply with these rules and any reasonable direction given by management.

1. General Conduct

Guests must behave in a manner that does not disturb, inconvenience, or endanger other guests, staff, or neighbours.

Drunkenness, abusive language, aggressive, violent, disruptive, indecent, or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes illegal drug use, public nudity, lewd conduct, and any conduct likely to disturb the peace of the park.

Management may evict any guest or visitor who breaches these rules. Police may be contacted where necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances, subject to any rights required by law.

2. Quiet Hours

Quiet times apply between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am daily.

During quiet hours, noise must be kept to an absolute minimum. Please respect other guests at all times, particularly early in the morning and late at night.

3. Children

Parents and guardians are responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their children at all times.

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult in the amenities, pool, camp kitchen, laundry, and any other shared areas.

Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and similar equipment must not be ridden after dark. Riders must travel at walking pace around amenities, the laundry, BBQ area, and other pedestrian areas. Bikes, scooters, and similar items must not be left on pathways or in a manner that creates a hazard.

4. Amenities

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when using the amenities.

Please leave all amenities clean, neat, and tidy after use.

No pets are permitted inside the amenities

5. Pool Rules

Pool hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times in the pool area.

No glass is permitted in the pool area.

No bombing, diving, running, rough play, or dangerous behaviour is allowed.

Pets are not permitted in the pool area.

Guests must comply with any posted pool safety signs and directions from management.

6. Fires and Cooking

Open fires are not permitted at any time, as no permit is held for open fires.

Portable cooking equipment may only be used where permitted by management and in a safe manner. Guests must ensure any cooking equipment is fully extinguished and attended at all times.

7. Smoking

By Law smoking is not permitted inside any building in the park.

Smoking is not permitted within 5 metres of any doorway, or in the BBQ area.

Guests must dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. Do not discard butts on the ground, in gardens, or in rubbish bins containing combustible waste.

8. Pets

The park is pet-friendly subject to the following rules, which must be strictly followed at all times.

All pets must be kept under effective control at all times.

Pets must not behave in a manner that causes nuisance, noise, fear, or disturbance to other guests, staff, or visitors.

Pets are strictly prohibited from entering all amenities buildings, the pool area, camp kitchen, BBQ areas, and any other communal facilities.

Pet owners are responsible for the immediate collection and proper disposal of all pet waste. Waste must be securely bagged and placed in designated bins.

Pet owners are responsible for ensuring their pets do not damage sites, gardens, lawns, trees, park infrastructure, or the property of other guests. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the pet owner.

Only domesticated household pets are permitted. Aggressive animals or animals deemed dangerous or unsuitable by management are not permitted.

Management reserves the right to require the removal of any pet from the park at any time if, in its opinion, the pet is causing a nuisance, risk, or disturbance. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the guest’s stay without refund, subject to applicable law.

9. Sites and Camp Set-Up

Guests must keep their site tidy and free from rubbish, clutter, and hazards.

Please do not damage trees, shrubs, lawns, or park infrastructure when setting up.

If a site requires mowing or maintenance, please notify the office.

Trenches must not be dug around tents or annexes without the specific permission of management.

Pegs must not be driven into the ground where underground plumbing, electrical services, or other infrastructure may be present. If in doubt, ask management first.

Any damage caused by a guest to grass, trees, shrubs, wiring, plumbing, power outlets, or park property may be charged to the guest.

10. Vehicles, Parking, and Access

Guests may only bring one car into the park.

Large vehicles and additional cars must be parked outside the park.

Vehicles must not be parked on empty sites, slabs, or any area not allocated to the guest. This is to protect future arrivals and maintain access throughout the park.

Boats and trailers must be parked outside the park grounds, noting there is a Council car park at the boat ramp that adjoining the caravan park.

Vans and camper trailers must be registered, roadworthy, and in towable condition, with the towbar facing the roadway.

Motorhomes and buses must be backed into the site unless management directs otherwise.

Vehicles must not obstruct driveways, fire access routes, pedestrian paths, or neighbouring sites.

11. Speed Limit

A maximum speed limit of 10 km/h applies within the park at all times.

Drivers must take extreme care and watch for children, pedestrians, cyclists, and pets.

12. Power Leads and Electrical Safety

Only one certified 15-amp power lead may be used per connection point unless otherwise approved by management.

Power boards, double adapters, and unsafe electrical arrangements are strictly prohibited.

All leads must be in good condition, compliant, and suitable for external use.

Leads must not create a trip hazard or cross walkways where they may endanger others.

Any damage caused by unsuitable or faulty equipment may be charged to the guest.

13. Laundry

Laundry hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm unless otherwise advised.

Washing machines are $4 and dryers are $3. Machines take $1 coins only.

Guests must remove laundry promptly and leave the area clean and tidy.

Temporary clotheslines must not be erected in trees or around sites.

14. Rubbish and Recycling

All rubbish must be bagged securely before disposal to reduce odours and flies.

No fish scraps are to be placed in the general bins.

Recycle bins are only to be used for bottles, plastic, aluminium, and cardboard, unless otherwise signposted.

Recycling must be clean and empty. Food containers must not be placed in recycling bins unless thoroughly rinsed.

Guests must not leave rubbish around sites, facilities, or common areas.

15. Fish Cleaning

Fish cleaning is not permitted inside the park or in any amenities area.

16. Visitors

The park and all facilities are for registered guests only.

All visitors must be reported to the office on arrival.

Guests are responsible for the conduct, behaviour, and safety of their visitors.

Visitors must park outside the park.

17. Security

Guests are responsible for their own valuables, vehicles, caravans, and personal property.

Please lock caravans, vehicles, annexes, and site storage at all times.

Management accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, or burglary, except to the extent required by law.

18. Check-in and Check-out

Check-out time is strictly 10:00 am.

Extensions are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Guests must vacate their site by the required time unless management has confirmed a late departure in writing or otherwise approved it.

19. Early Departures, Cancellations, and Refunds

Refunds will only be provided where more than 14 days’ notice of cancellation is given.

A 100% cancellation fee applies if a booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival or if the guest does not arrive.

No refunds will be given for change of mind, early departure, or bad weather.

Acceptance of these rules is a condition of staying in the park.

20. Vehicle and Equipment Washing

Washing of vehicles, caravans, boats, or any large equipment within the park is not permitted unless prior approval has been obtained from management.

21. Generators

The use or operation of generators within the park is not permitted unless expressly approved by management.

22. Drones and Aerial Devices

The use of drones or any aerial devices within the park is not permitted without prior permission from management.

23. Waste Disposal

The disposal of greywater, chemicals, oils, fuels, or any hazardous substances onto the ground, into gardens, or into stormwater drains is strictly prohibited.

24. E-Scooters and E-Bikes

E-scooters, e-bikes, and similar devices must be operated safely at all times and must not be used at excessive speeds or in pedestrian areas where they may pose a risk to others.

25. Compliance with Directions

Guests must comply with reasonable directions given by management or authorised staff at all times.

Management may amend these rules from time to time for the safety, comfort, and efficient operation of the park.
